“Evolving Still is not a path, but a lifestyle.”
Hey! My name is Eboni, and I am the founder of Evolving Still. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan (Westside) and am a recent University of Michigan graduate with a B.S in Biopsychology, Cognition, Neuroscience. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and living my best life. Currently, I’m not only on my journey of evolving but also on my journey to medical school!
Evolving Still is a lifestyle brand that calls for individuals to push forward and to always show up as their best selves. It encourages the practice of accountability and promotes frequent emotional checks in. This brand advocates emotional wellness in a way that allows individuals to still maintain their normal busy lives.
For me, this brand is personal. If you know me, you know that I am all about living your best life. I am very particular about what I give time to and not letting things disrupt my peace, so much so that my friends have jokingly dubbed me the “SELF CARE QUEEN.” Self care and evolving are two of my favorite things; however, it is rarely only bubble baths and shopping trips like many think. If you solely rely on surface level “self care” it is unlikely that you will see any personal growth.
I have learned that no matter who you are and what you are going through, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with all of your emotions, goals and/or frustrations, especially when you are in the midst of your career or are pursuing a higher education. I believe that we all owe it to ourselves to evolve no matter where we are in life and by focusing on emotional wellness we give ourselves our best chances.
To be honest, creating and sharing this brand with you all is something that I am extremely passionate about but would not have naturally put into works myself. Fortunately for me, my village was able to see my passion and give me a little push to step out on faith and to share my experiences. I want to welcome you all and am so excited to be on this journey of evolving with you!
Talk to you soon,
Eboni
